Concourse is a data operations platform and DSL that's designed to build data pipelines. The Concourse UI provides data engineers and data managers with better visibility into ingestion, delivers notifications and error handling. The UI platform also includes documentation equipped for developers to streamline data ingestion.
Concourse in an ETL (Extract Transform Load) product, and is somewhat complex in understanding. I am providing the below annotations to help guide you through the user needs, and experience.
What is ETL?
ETL is short for extract, transform, load, three database functions that are combined into one tool to pull data out of one database and place it into another database. Extract is the process of reading data from a database.
